Nevada is rich with diversity. Our vibrant state calls to visitors from across the world, and many cultures call it home. With nearly 1 in 5 Nevadans having been born in another country, abusive immigration practices constitute a threat to Nevada families, our economy, and our very way of life.

Due Process, For the People

The fundamental constitutional protections of due process and equal protection embodied in our Constitution and Bill of Rights apply to every person, regardless of immigration status. But if people can't access good Know Your Rights information, what can they do to prepare their families for any eventuality?

Community Solidarity, For the People

Building community connections is more important than ever when liberty and justice are on the line, and we want our loved ones and neighbors to know they're not alone.

To date our volunteer canvassers have connected with more than 175 businesses and community spaces to share vital Know Your Rights information.

Reliable Information, For the People

Our civil rights attorneys meticulously comb through every Know Your Rights guide and resource because mis- and dis-information is everywhere, and our community needs reliable information.

So far in 2025, our team has led more than 30 Know Your Rights workshops and discussions throughout Nevada.

Stopped by Police in Nevada

An encounter with law enforcement can be a stressful and intense situation. It’s easy to forget what rights you are entitled to when in the presence of a police officer who may seem to have all the authority in the world.
