Bio
Danielle is the prisoners rights attorney for the ACLU of Nevada. She works exclusively on issues related to incarceration, including conditions of confinement, First Amendment rights of incarcerated people, and government transparency. Her underlying goal with this work is to highlight the humanity of people impacted by the carceral system and the resource gaps that often lead people there.
Danielle received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Classics in 2015 from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Juris Doctorate and Master of Social Work in 2025 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She worked at the ACLU of Nevada as both a legal extern and social work practicum student throughout her graduate program.
Prior to her graduate studies, Danielle spent six years as a preschool teacher in California. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, attending music festivals, and spending time with her husband and four senior rescue cats.
