Seeking Legal Help?

The ACLU of Nevada focuses exclusively on systemic litigation by seeking to change public policy or the law through our work, including through our legal work. We recognize that Nevada’s legal market, which does not provide a right to counsel in civil cases, is often challenging to navigate for people who may have suffered a civil rights violation. Unfortunately, our work is not funded by the government, and accordingly, we don’t have the resources to handle individual claims as they arise. Should you need a referral for an attorney who might be able to assist you with a civil liberties-related issue as it arises, we’d encourage you to contact the State Bar of Nevada’s Lawyer Referral Service (links to an external site).
