Jordyn was born and raised in O`ahu, Hawai`i, and moved to Las Vegas in 2019. She attended Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Media Studies. Throughout her college experience, Jordyn took a wide variety of classes pertaining to social justice issues and took an interest in the way media plays an important and impactful role in those areas and decided to put her degree towards advocacy. Along with civil liberties and human rights, she is also extremely passionate about mental health rights, animal rights, and environmental justice.
Once she was old enough, she adopted her chihuahua mix Lily and looks forward to being able to provide more dogs with a loving and caring home in the future. Jordyn is also a huge true crime nerd and loves spending a lot of her free time watching documentaries and listening to podcasts.
