Public invited to nominate gala honorees now through Friday, February 19
LAS VEGAS – American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada (ACLUNV) is celebrating 50 years of public service throughout 2016, with a 50th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Wynn Las Vegas. The gala will include dinner, a silent auction, entertainment, and a VIP ticket option that includes a one-hour cocktail reception with Nevada and national VIPs.
Individuals and organizations from across the state will be honored and recognized at the gala for dedicating their efforts to protecting civil rights and liberties for all. The ACLUNV invites the public to nominate members from the community, entertainment, government, and innovation industries across the state. Nominees should have a commitment and passion for the ACLU’s four pillars: democracy, equality, liberty and justice. Nominations can be made online at https://aclunv.org/50thAnniversary through Friday, February 19.
