Our civil liberties are under attack more than ever before. The ACLU of Nevada has been there every step of the way, ready to defend and protect Nevadans' right to democracy, equality, justice and liberty.
Join us at the Biggest Little Liberty Celebration to celebrate our successes and help us continue the fight at 6 p.m. Nov. 2, at the Renaissance Hotel in Reno.
This year we're honoring Noah Christensen with the Voice of Tomorrow Award. You may remember him as the McQueen High School student forced to fight for his First Amendment rights after he was suspended from school for calling his congressman during a student protest. We're also honoring Senator Richard Bryan with our Liberty in Government Award for a lifetime of public service committed to protecting and defending Nevadans' civil liberties.
Funds raised at the Biggest Little Liberty Celebration will support the ACLU of Nevada's work on education, litigation and advocacy.
