Join us for ur 15th annual Celebration of Civil Liberties on June 15 in Las Vegas.

Former U.S. Senator Richard Bryan will be presented with the Liberty in Government Award at the Wheel House at The LINQ Hotel and Casino.

Bryan was appointed in 1966 to be Southern Nevada’s first-ever public defender. He went on to serve in the Nevada Legislature—as state attorney general and as governor—before heading to Washington. He is also regarded as a champion of women’s equality and reproductive rights.

Today Bryan works as a director at Fennemore Craig Attorneys, where he focuses his practice on government relations at the federal, state and local levels, particularly in the area of public land use issues.

Attendees will enjoy gourmet hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer. There will also be a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will support the ACLU of Nevada’s work defending civil rights and liberties throughout the Silver State.
