Lilith Baran

Lilith Baran joined the ACLU of Nevada in July 2021 to continue her fight for freedom and restorative justice.  Through the years, she has combined activism, research, and artistry to better the community in creative ways, and the issues she is most passionate about are criminal legal reform, housing rights, and education. She believes the answers to some of Nevada's most pressing issues lie with the directly impacted, and it is our job to listen and reimagine a world where there is room for all of us to rest, live, love, and grow together. Lilith has an incredible son who is 12 years old, and her family hosts a community mutual-aid garden called the Hampton House Garden Project in their backyard.
