ACLU NV Presents: "The Response"-- What Really Happens at Guantanamo Bay

We invite you to a FREE screening in Las Vegas of "The Response" a short film that reenacts the military tribunals at Guantanamo Bay and raises important questions about national security and civil rights.  The Washington Post calls it a "tight, tense recreation" and NPR says it is a "brilliant production."

Working in partnership with Amnesty International and the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, the event will also include a panel discussion featuring the film's writer/producer Sig Libowitz and actor Peter Riegert, Boyd Law Professor Christopher Blakesley, Gerald Bierbaum of the Las Vegas Federal Public Defender's Office, and Amnesty International Western Regional Director Banafsheh Akhlaghi.

Where:Thomas & Mack Moot Court Auditorium, Boyd School of Law, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154.

Some parking will be available in one of the university lots at the corner of Maryland and Harmon Ave.  Follow posted signs to the appropriate spots.
