The American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada (ACLUNV) seeks to hire a full time Outreach Coordinator to build community and coalition support for the ACLUNV’s policy agenda. The Outreach Coordinator will design new ways to harness the strength of our members and supporters statewide, as well as collaborate with community stakeholders and build new relationships. The Coordinator will work across ACLU departments and projects to help develop and execute action plans that can be used to mobilize these constituencies throughout the state and will provide administrative support as needed. The Coordinator will also be responsible for devising and implementing effective strategies to advance ACLUNV policy and advocacy campaigns, particularly in the areas of immigrants’ rights, indigent defense, comprehensive sex education, juvenile justice, and ending mass incarceration, among other areas in our broad civil liberties agenda. The ACLU of Nevada seeks applicants for a Staff Attorney position in Las Vegas. The Staff Attorney will work with the ACLUNV’s legal team to effectively coordinate the organization’s statewide legal program under the direction of the Legal Director, and may from time to time be involved in non-litigation advocacy and lobbying.
