Celebrate the 36th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade
In the landmark decision Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court solidified an individual’s right to autonomy and privacy and also recognized that there are aspects of a person’s life that the government simply cannot interfere with - like decisions about whether and when to become a parent. The ACLU’s mission is to ensure that every person can make informed, meaningful decisions about reproduction free from intrusion by the government.
Join the ACLU of Nevada in celebrating the 36th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade with local Planned Parenthood affiliates. Events in Las Vegas and Reno are listed below.
LAS VEGAS
- What: Rock for Roe! Sponsored by Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada
- When: Saturday, January 24, 7:00 – 10:00 PM
- Where: Jackson's Bar and Grill, 6020 W. Flamingo Road
- Details: This exciting event will feature local bands and information from local organizations that support Roe. A $5.00 donation to Planned Parenthood Public Affairs is requested for entry.

- What: 36 Reasons at Seven, Sponsored by Planned Parenthood Mar Monte
- When: Saturday, January 24, 6:00 – 8:00 PM
- Where: Se7en Tea House, 100 N Arlington, Suite 102
- Details: This fun event at a local Tea House will feature music, shared experiences, an art raffle and more!
