Liberty & Libations at The Arts Factory - Las Vegas

$10 suggested donation at the door supports the ACLU of Nevada Foundation, working to preserve your civil rights every day.

Nevada Women's Lobby Celebration

The event will take place from 5:30-7:30PM on Tuesday, March 23rd at Blue Martini in Town Square, Las Vegas. For ticket and RSVP information, visit www.nevadawomenslobby.org.

This health fair will feature several community organizations providing free exams and information for the whole family regarding health care, employment, education, and much more.

ACLU NV Presents: "The Response"-- What Really Happens at Guantanamo Bay

We invite you to a FREE screening in Las Vegas of "The Response" a short film that reenacts the military tribunals at Guantanamo Bay and raises important questions about national security and civil rights. The Washington Post calls it a "tight, tense recreation" and NPR says it is a "brilliant production."
Celebrate Domestic Partnerships in Nevada!
Submitted by Phil Hooper on Fri, 06/05/2009 - 16:18.This Thursday, June 25, the ACLU of Nevada is joining the Nevada LGBT community, friends, and supporters in celebrating the passage of Nevada's Domestic Partnership Law, SB 283.
The gala celebration hosted by Harrah's Entertainment and planned by the ACLU of Nevada, the Gay and Lesbian Community Center, the Human Rights Campaign, and PLAN, will take place at the Rio Hotel & Casino ballroom, June 25, from 5:30PM to 8:00PM. It will be a chance for everyone in our community to gather and recognize this important moment in our state's history.
